After graduating from Emory University in 1992, Drew spent 3 years in marketing with Phillips & Brooks/Gladwin, Inc., an international manufacturer of telecommunications equipment.  He graduated law school in 1998 from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and spent 2 years as a contract attorney representing Columbia/HCA in one of the largest federal fraud cases in U.S. history.

In 2001, Drew was recruited to cigar maker CAO International, Inc.  As COO, he was responsible for transforming CAO’s supply chain, inventory and delivery operations to allow for extensive growth - CAO grew from $8M to over $25M revenue in less than 5 years.  Among other duties, Drew managed a supply chain stretching from Asia to Central America to Europe.  Drew was an integral part of the small close-knit management team who created strategies that have contributed to CAO’s tremendous success.

In 2005, Drew co-founded health care startup, SourceMark LLC, serving as President and COO.  The company is a national medical surgical supply manufacturer/distributor serving the needs of large GPOs and hospital systems as well as the national “big box” retail pharmacy market.  Drew’s daily responsibilities included leading the management team, defining and executing corporate strategic objectives, and managing the operations of the company from its inception.  Drew was closely involved in the development of SourceMark’s product lines, packaging and marketing materials. He was also responsible for managing SourceMark’s Asian supply chain.

In late 2007, Drew joined Harpeth Financial Services LLC, the largest retail financial services provider in Middle Tennessee.  As COO, Drew helped develop new critical systems and procedures for this growing company including a complete overhaul of both the company's main operating software systems.  Drew managed over 120 employees across 23 locations, established offshore and local collections call centers, negotiated all vendor and real estate agreements, directed the opening of 5 new stores in less than a year, and implemented new HR policies and procedures. Financial milestones Drew supported include over a 90% increase in loan sales, a 15% payroll expense reduction while adding new stores, and a 15% cost reduction in annual telephony/Internet expenses while simultaneously moving all critical applications to the web.

In 2010, Drew co-founded United Telehealth Services, serving as COO for seven years.  UTS is a national telemedicine services provider specializing in bringing service lines to hospitals via telemedicine where they typically could not have been provided before using traditional on-site models.  The company specializes in providing turnkey maternal fetal medicine and NICU service lines to hospitals including software, equipment, nurses, and other clinicians allowing live, real-time patient care via remote UTS-provided physicians.  The company boasts a diverse customer base in multiple states partnering with some of the largest hospital companies in the world.
